Join us for an informal virtual visit at 8:30 pm Eastern (5:30 pm Pacific) with historian Peter Stansky, who will share with us his work and involvement with William Morris. Since Peter is a longtime member of our society, this event surely will allow us also to reflect on the history of our own society over the years. This is a free event which is open to members of the public.

Peter Stansky received BAs in History from Yale and King's College, Cambridge and a Ph.D. in History from Harvard University. He taught at Harvard until 1968, when he joined the Stanford faculty becoming in 1974 the Frances and Charles Field Professor of History. He is the author of Redesigning the World: William Morris, the 1880s and the Arts and CraftsWilliam Morris in the Oxford Past Master series and Another Book that Never Was among other books.
